A communication scholar with the Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), Prince Steven Anu’ Adesemoye, PhD., has congratulated His Royal Majesty, Oba (Barr.) Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, Emugoriade I, the Adeboruwa of Kingdom, on his 10th coronation anniversary celebration.
Oba Kasali ascended the throne of his ancestors a decade ago and since emergence, Igbogbo has witnessed tremendous developments.
In celebration of this, the coronation anniversary activities started last Sunday and today is the grand finale.
In a statement, Prince Adesemoye commended Adeboruwa for his leadership and the wisdom he has used in steering the Igbogbo ship towards greatness in the last 10 years.
”On this day, the twenty-fifth of July in the year of our Lord two thousand and twenty-six, as the grand finale of a decade upon the ancestral stool unfolds in the ancient kingdom of Igbogbo, within Ìkòròdú of Lagos State, Nigeria, West Africa, we lift our voices in reverence.
’Ten years have passed since the sacred beads of authority settled upon the brow of His Royal Majesty Ọba Semiudeen Kasali, Emugoriade I, Adeboruwa of Igbogbo.
”In that span the roots of the kingdom have deepened, the drums of the forefathers have not fallen silent, and the path of the people has been guided by a hand both firm and measured.”
He wished Oba Kasali a renewed strength and long reign in administering his kingdom.
”Kabiyesi, may the wisdom of the elders continue to dwell upon your head, the knowledge of the ages light your steps, and the strength of the earth grant you health and lasting abundance, that the throne of Igbogbo Kingdom may stand secured for generations yet unborn.
”May the crown endure.”
